Koastal
2021, CWHBA registered, Bay, Colt. By Kumano (Kannan x Landjunje) out of Imajen (Storm RangerXX x Giacco's Channel)
Champion of the 2021 Manitoba chapter CWHBA foal futurity, Koastal is a large, solidly built colt, with good conformation, and an attitude that makes him very easy to work with. He has a lovely elastic trot, shows a natural rhythm in the canter, and displays correct form over feces.
Koastal's sire Kumano is an exceptional jumper, who scored an impressive 9.5 for jumping technique at his stallion testing. Kumano then moved on to compete at 1.50m with the Canadian rider Eric Martin. Kumano's sire Kannan, who was previously #1 on the WBFSH Sire Ranking for show Jumpers, has offspring competing in the Olympic and World Cups rings. Kumano's dam lines have produced several top level Jumpers. Kumano's Pedigree on both sides is full of impressive names such as Voltaire, Nimmidor, Le Mexico, Furioso II, Landgraf, and Gottard.
Koastal has many half siblings by Kumano currently competing up to 1.35m with Júnior's and Amateurs'. Names of successful offspring include Kobalt, Karats, Dark Side of the Moon, Krane, Karrera, Kentaro and Khromano. Kumano's offspring are known to be honest, hardworking and careful jumpers that can be brought along by amateurs and professionals alike.
Koastal's dam Imajen is a lovely 2016 CSH hunter prospect. She became a broodmare in response to shows shutting down for Covid 19. Imajen's dam has Oldenberg lines going back to Giacamo by Gervantus II (who sired the Olympic mount Gamour CH https://www.sigmawarmbloods.com/gervantus ). And Hannovarian lines going back to the Champion Hunter stallion Gringo ridden and shown by Dayton Gorseline and Peter Pletcher, by Gallipoli by Gluckspilz. Relatives of Imajen side can be seen showing in Hunters, Jumpers, Dressage & Derbies across North America.
Koastal can be purchased for $ 15,000 USD. Gelding and shipping can easily be arranged. CWHBA papers will be transferred to new owner upon purchase.
Quella
Quella is a grey, 2013, 16.2hh, imported Oldenburg Mare. She is by Quite Capitol, out of Stubach1 (by Landadel). Imported in 2018, She had a soft start in Canada at a lesson barn in the Manitoba Prairies, where her calm disposition and athletic ability made her a great intermediate mount for people learning the fundamentals of jumping.
2021 was her Canadian showring debut, with numerous ribbons and Championships at RMSJ in the Children's Hunters & Medals. With four shows and numerous placings in the hunter ring under her belt now, Quella thoroughly enjoys this new show horse life. She is easy to handle on the ground, makes it down the lines easily, and turns well for the Handy Hunters, Derbies and medal classes. She moves well and is always in the top ribbons in her flat classes. Quella safely goes down the road, turns out in mixed company, lives happily inside or out. Quella is currently shod all around, UTD on all vaccinations, dental etc. Recent vet check including rads available.
This mare is a lovely addition to any barn.
Priced in the mid 5's.
Imajen a.k.a. Isla
Isla is a 2016, Canadian Sport Horse, Hunter prospect. She is currently in foal to Kumano for 2022. She stands 16.3hh and was professionally started in 2019 by Florent Rivard. Due to Covid-19 shut downs, she was then bred and produced the exceptional 2021 Colt Koastal by Kumano.
Imajen is by the lovely late stallion Storm Ranger. A big, flashy TB Stallion who crossed exceptionally well with warmblood mares. Storm Ranger added chrome, a nice flat trot, and height, while maintaining the power and scope that the warmbloods are known for.
Imajen's dam Glamour Girl has Oldenberg lines going back to Giacamo by Gervantus II (who sired the Olympic mount Gamour CH https://www.sigmawarmbloods.com/gervantus ).
Imajen can be negotiated in foal for 2022, rebred for 2023 or open after weaning of her 2022 foal. Please see Koastal above for an idea of the quality her 2022 foal will be.
Blue Bayou
Blue Bayou is a 16.3hh, 2018 registered Canadian Sport Horse Mare. This large filly was awarded premium status at the CWHBA Mare Inspection in 2021. She is a big, and elegant mover, with a correct jump.
A full sister to Imajen above, Blue is by Storm Ranger and out of Glamour Girl.
She is unstarted at this time. Blue is a big girl and needs time to finish growing. However, her quiet, easy going nature make her easy to work with; and her chrome & blue eye are sure to catch attention in the show ring.
Blue is currently in foal to the Olympic stallion Emerald. With Emerald's belly-spot, we are hoping the foal will have both bling and talent!
Blue and/or her inutero foal can be negotiated by private treaty.
